SELF SERVICE Terminal
SELF SERVICE Terminal
Self-service terminals at the point of sale serve as digital information points that customers can use to query prices, check items in stock and even order them on the spot. Self-service terminals are particularly successful in retail stores with a wide item range.

Customers can check an item by using a barcode scanner, searching the product catalog or typing the article number manually. Information such as product descriptions, prices, size runs, more color options and outfit pictures is displayed. Customers have the opportunity to view available sizes quickly and easily, as well as to call a shop assistant by pushing a button. Items that are sold out in the store can be ordered quickly and easily via the in-store order at the Self Service Terminal and are delivered either to your home or to the shop for collection. Payment is made at the cash register or - thanks to the payment integration of our partner adyen - directly at the terminal. All common cashless means of payment such as debit, credit or voucher cards are available. These out-of-stock sales allow retailers an easy way to generate additional sales. Furthermore, shoppers can use the terminal to apply for a customer loyalty card. In its idle state, the self-service terminal plays digital content.
